I’m a sucker for a book-themed invitation, and these custom baby shower invitations by Moira Design Studio are so very sweet. The book-themed invites feature whimsical hand lettering and hand drawn illustrations, along with colorful touches of watercolor that bring color and depth to this darling ensemble.
Jessica from Moira Design shares:
What better way to set the tone for a book-themed baby shower than by sending the invitations in a book! I knew I wanted to include illustrations and artwork, as well as hand lettering, and I also knew I wanted to think of an interesting method of shipping.
I ordered an antique set of children’s classics from eBay (the same set my mom has as a little girl), and I tucked the invitation sets into the books, wrapped them in brown paper, and into the post they went. The suites themselves included the invitation, reply card, a bookplate, and a request to have the guests bring their favorite book to start baby Claire’s library. I also included a bookmark so people knew to open the book when they got it in the mail.

It’s calendar season (yay!) and, over the next few weeks, I’ll be rounding up my favorite calendars from across the style spectrum, starting with this bunch of sweet, illustrated designs. I say this every year, but I really DO wish that I had room on my walls for, say, 25 or so calendars because there are just so many great designs.

These stylish holiday return address stamps by Lush Prints are calling my name. Not only are the stamps pretty, they’re also practical, especially if you have lots of Christmas cards to address. I’m loving pretty much every design in the bunch, but I have to say that the kitty cat and dog designs are my favorites. So cute!
