Flowermill Gift Wrap

I’m really digging what I’m seeing from Cape Town, South Africa based stationer and lifestyle design studio, Flowermill. They create everything from gorgeous gift wrap — great color and pattern! — to gift tags, greeting cards, custom corporate paper goods and wedding invitations, and even interior design items like block-mounted canvas prints. They also produce everything locally, to minimize their carbon footprint, and print all of their cards on recycled paper.

The Flowermill line is currently carried in shops across South Africa, but they’re looking to expand to new markets, so drop them a line if you’re interested! Here’s a little peek at their line:

Rock Scissor Paper Owl Invitations + Free Cupcake Toppers

Rock Scissor Paper Owl Invitations

Rock Scissor Paper Cupcake Toppers

I love owls, and I love woodgrain, so Rock Scissor Paper’s new Owl Party Invitations are right up my alley. And … they’ve designed free printable cupcake toppers to match! Doesn’t an owl-themed party sound like fun? Transform the cupcake topper printables into a cute garland or print them onto sticker paper and use them to embellish the invitation envelopes, place cards, etc. for super owl-y festivities.

Okay, so I just noticed that Rock Scissor Paper has an entire Owl Shoppe … um, awesome!

Planet Platonic Papercut Art

I’m completely in awe over the amazing papercut artwork of Mayuko Fujino, aka Planet Platonic. Every piece is created by hand with an X-acto knife, washi (Japanese handmade paper), and pages from magazines, and I love the organic shapes and wonderful color found in these papercuts. Mayuko’s Flickr stream is a feast for the eyes, and a selection of papercut works are available through the Planet Platonic Etsy shop.
