Neither Snow Calligraphy

I haven’t been able to stop gawking at the Neither Snow site since I first spotted Mara Zepeda’s absolutely gorgeous calligraphy work the other day on Oh Joy! I especially love the pieces where the lettering is allowed to fall just short of breaking the confines of the envelope — such a great energy in this style. And white lettering on a dark colored envelope? Love!

Paperfinger Illustrated Table Signs

Bryn Chernoff of Paperfinger Calligraphy & Design does some amazing work, and I’m completely taken with these custom illustrated table signs that she created for a couple’s rehearsal dinner. Each of the dozen table signs features an illustration based on something special to the couple, and images include Boathouse Row in Philadelphia, the Upper West Side and New York City skyline, and Syracuse University. My favorite is the Danville/Custard Cup (below). Love that little ice cream cone! You can see more of the custom signs over at Paper Tastebuds.

Parasol Craft, Issue 2

Parasol Craft, Issue 2 was just released last week, and this issue’s theme is kawaii! Regular readers will know that I’m a kawaii-o-phile, so this is the issue of my dreams, filled with wonderfully kawaii imagery and creations from so many talented artists and crafters. Above is just a little taste of what the issue contains.

In this issue you’ll also find sweet printable patterned papers, as well as kokeshi doll and cute fruit patterns from Yasmine, Parasol Craft’s multi-talented editor, plus printable mini cards, gift tags, and tutorials for mini pom flowers and a pin pricked envelope by yours truly, a little sneak peek of which I’ve included above. Keri + Carter Wedding Invitations

I spotted this lovely invitation suite, designed by Emory Cash, over at FPO the other day and just had to feature it here. The hand lettering, the ultra subdued color palette, the incorporation of pattern, the peacocks — wonderful, wonderful stuff! I love that more and more couples are stepping outside the box when it comes to wedding invitation design and are using the occasion to create something that truly expresses who they are as individuals:
