Eco Friendly Paper : Modernemotive

I’m really digging pretty much everything being created by Toronto based modernemotive, whose paper goods are like a breath of fresh air. The colors and patterns are sophisticated and modern, and they’ve recently expanded beyond greeting cards and stationery to include lovely art prints (above), as well as personalized calling cards that are sure to make a great first impression.

Examples of modernemotive’s super snazzy personalized calling cards:

Modernemotive’s mission is to produce products that have the least consequence to the Earth, and their cardstock and envelopes are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. Paper and envelopes are also made from either 100% or 30% PCW (Post Consumer Waste) and are chlorine and acid free. Products are shipped in mailing envelopes that contain 90% recycled fibers and are protected by plant based bio-degradable and compostable clear bags.

Love Notes by Wiley Valentine

My heart was set aflutter when I spotted the launch of the new Love Notes collection by Wiley Valentine over at Style Me Pretty. Pretty pinks, gorgeous type and illustrative elements, and a beautiful quote about love by Voltaire — how very appropriate for a collection called Love Notes! And I’m in love with the inspiration board behind the collection, which includes a swoon-worthy book cover, designed in part by the awesome Marian Bantjes, for a collection of love poetry by Pablo Neruda:
