New Advertisers : November 2009

I’m excited to welcome two new advertisers to Paper Crave this month: Give Studio and Spark Stationery!

Give Studio Letterpress

Give Studio has a lovely collection of letterpress greeting cards, card sets, and personalized stationery featuring modern, whimsical illustrations and hand lettering. They also do their part for the environment by using recyclable packaging, biodegradable card sleeves, and envelopes made from recycled paper. Pretty and eco-friendly – what more could you ask?

Letterpress Love Spark Stationery

I recently mentioned the launch of Spark Stationery’s brand new website, letterpresslove.com, where you can find plenty of eye candy just by looking at the website design! But there’s oh so much more to be found in the pages of their new web digs, including a portfolio filled with beautiful letterpress cards and invitations and a blog, where you can keep up on the latest from Spark.

2009 Neiman Marcus Christmas Book

The 2009 Neiman Marcus Christmas book, released earlier this month, is a feast for the paper lover’s eyes. First, the front and back covers feature beautiful, ornate quilled paper creations by Yulia Brodskaya:

The book is accompanied by a fantasy gifts video, which features quilling in action. Very cool!

And, inside the Christmas Book, you’ll find lots of inspirational paper accents, including paper snowflakes and interesting use of book pages as both photo backdrops and as accessories and clothing. Love it. Many thanks to Sonia for the tip!

2010 Calendar Roundup, Part 3

It’s Thursday, and you know what that means, don’t you? Well, it means that it’s almost Friday (yay!), but it also means that it’s time for part three of my 2010 calendar roundup (double yay!). You’ll also want to check out parts one and two, and look forward to at least one or two more in the coming days.

First up today is Albertine Press, who veered away from their marbled calendars of years past and created a 100% letterpress calendar this year. The project required 29 separate color runs, and the result is gorgeous:
