I’m such a big fan of Alberto Cerriteño’s illustrations, and this Elephant Umbrella letterpress print is simply awesome. The three-color limited edition print is part of Grincket, a new collaborative collection of art and clothing from Alberto and photographer, Luisa Vega. The super cute, wood mounted robot prints in the Grincket line are a must see, too!

Paper Cut Letter Cards

Sweet, leafy versions of every letter of the alphabet have been hand cut just for you by London-based Heart Zeena, and you can choose from three insert colors – blue, mint, or pink – to make your lovely letter stand out even more. These paper cut letter cards would look great framed as wall art, too. A card and a gift, all rolled into one!

Paper & Love Typeface

A typeface inspired by origami? Love it! Designer Chris Berthe created Paper & Love with a flat typeface in mind, and the letterforms are based on an octagonal grid and origami folds. The digital version, which you can check out over on Behance, represents this origami concept by emphasizing transparency and focusing on the letter shapes, and the majority of the 2D letterforms can be created by simply folding thin strips of paper and following the octagonal grid. I love that Chris took his concept a step further and actually rendered the typeface in 3D using paper, an X-acto knife, and lots of love, of course.

Papercut Ketubahs

I’ve previously featured the beautiful papercut artwork of Naomi Shiek of The Time Is Now here on Paper Crave, and I’m excited to share the gorgeous new line of papercut ketubahs that Naomi has created in collaboration with stationery designer, Jennifer Raichman.

Traditionally, ketubahs are used in the Jewish faith as a marriage contract between the bride and groom. The highly stylized and ornamental posters are traditionally gilded and adorned with highly detailed papercut imagery, and couples frame and hang them in their homes. These days, the ketubah is used in secular society to display the newlyweds’ wedding vows or love poems, and they are also commissioned for anniversaries and other special occasions.

The new ketubah collection combines Naomi’s delicate papercut nature scenes with Jennifer’s signature modern design to produce ketubahs that beautifully blend the traditional with a more contemporary aesthetic. The 11×17 inch posters feature two layers: a handmade papercut layer by Naomi overlaid on Jennifer’s stylized ketubah prints. And what’s even more amazing about this collaboration is that it takes place across continents, with Naomi creating her papercuts in her studio in Israel and sending them to Jennifer in the U.S. See more of the collection over at Jennifer’s shop.

Petit Collage Maple Veneer Prints

Petit Collage has such a sweet collection of goodies, and I’m completely taken with these lovely maple veneer prints from their shop. Such wonderful colors and illustrations, and the perfect thing to hang on the wall in a child’s room, office, or anyplace where you want to add some color and cheer. So sweet!
