Paper Source India Collection

After a trip to Asia last year, Paper Source’s founder, Sue, returned inspired to create a collection about India. I’m loving the result of this inspiration, the India Collection, which features intricate and warm patterns filled with images of lotuses, paisleys, and sometimes even elephants in rich golds, rusts and oranges, reds, and browns. I also think it’s cool that Paper Source takes us through a little bit of the collaborative design process on their blog and includes pictures of the initial illustrations and inspiration wall that were created as a part of the process.

Check out the entire India Collection here, and see below for some lovely eye candy:

The rubber stamps are one of my favorite things from the collection:

On My Wishlist : Papercraft

Papercraft Book

Papercraft Book

Over the past (almost) three years of blogging, I’ve seen some amazing creations crafted from paper, and the trend of creating art and design work from this ever versatile medium seems to be gaining momentum, especially over the past year. German publisher, Getstalten, has taken notice of this trend and will be publishing Papercraft, a book all about the wide spectrum of artistic works created from paper. Filled with gorgeous paper eye candy, this book went on my wishlist, oh, about five seconds after I spotted it. Papercraft will be available for purchase this September, and I’ll be waiting! – spotted on HOW blog

Jenn Ski Owl Cards

Jenn Ski Owl Cards

Goodness knows that I can’t resist anything that has an owl on it, and I’m loving these new cards by Jenn Ski. The funky eyes, the colorful feathers, so much fun! The cards are blank inside, so you can use them for any occasion. A set of 4 is $7.00 at Jenn Ski’s Etsy shop.

Iron Forge Press

I have a major weakness for awesome gig posters, so when I spotted the work of Iron Forge Press, I was a goner. The Florida based shop specializes in screen printed posters and clothing, and their blog is a must see for lovers of screen prints or wannabe screen printing gurus (that’s me). Here are just a few posters from their portfolio:
