National Stationery Show Tracie Stier Johnson

Photographer Tracie Stier-Johnson, who is also the former owner of paper boutique, Broadway Paper, has so much eye candy in her coverage of the National Stationery Show. The three part series covers a few booths that I haven’t seen elsewhere, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading her unique take on this year’s show.

National Stationery Show Letters Journals

Jackie Flaherty, paper enthusiast and founder of the forthcoming quarterly publication, Letters & Journals (help her out by taking a survey!), covers the NSS from the perspective of a paper lover who is trying to maintain a “modicum of self discipline” in the face of a seemingly endless supply of lovely paper products. I can imagine how she feels!

Congrats to Jacki Paper! River Dog Prints’ two part feature also includes Hello! Vicki from Three Wheels Turning Design + Paper may not have been in attendance at the show this year, but she also took note of the images of beautiful booth displays at the show, including Whitney English (top), Rag & Bone Bindery (bottom), and more.

NSS Perspectives, Part 1

Another National Stationery Show has come and gone, with so many paper lovelies launched and on display that I can barely keep myself contained. This year, thanks to Twitter and the many paper loving Twitterers, I almost felt as if I were at the show. I was so grateful for the almost instantly uploaded pictures and tweets live from the show floor, and I felt everyone’s excitement for the experience.

This series of posts is my attempt to link to many of the bloggers who have provided us with so much gorgeous eye candy over the past week. Oh, and there are also lots of great images from the show over on Flickr, so be sure to check those out, too!

I know that I can’t possibly get every blog post that was made, so if you’ve been blogging the NSS and don’t see yourself listed in these posts, please feel free to either contact me or comment and drop your link.

And now, without further ado, here we go!

Crafty Stickers Book

Crafty Stickers

I was an avid sticker collector back in the day (hello, scratch and sniff!), and I still have a real weakness for cool stickers. So, when I spotted The Small Object’s post about Crafty Stickers, published by Chronicle Books, I had to check it out.

The book is filled with 240 peel and stick labels and stickers made specifically for crafters. You can use the stickers to personalize gifts and projects, to perk up stationery and correspondence, and to organize around the home. The Small Object has done some awesome things using the stickers, including making an organizational system for her wholesale invoices and orders and creating custom bookmarks and bag tags. See everything that she’s made over here.
