Hanukkah Card Roundup

I’ve always been somewhat partial to Hanukkah cards and gift wrap, probably in part because I love blues and teals, but also because I really like the strong but simple design elements often found in Hanukkah paper goods. There is beauty in simplicity, and a single Star of David centered on the front of a crisp, white card or a single row of stylized candles can have big visual impact. Here are some of the lovely Hanukkah greetings that I’ve come across this year in my holiday web travels.

Congratulations to Adina, who has the winning entry for the Paper Mojo holiday gift wrap giveaway! Here’s what Adina had to say about her favorite colors for holiday gift wrapping:

I love using untraditional bright colors like blue, orange and yellow together or mustard, fuchsia and grey! One of my favorite color combinations is copper with a metallic baby blue.

I’ll be contacting you shortly, Adina, to let you know how you can claim your prize, and I want to give a big thank you to everyone else who participated in this giveaway. I really enjoyed reading all of your color ideas. So inspiring!

A Letterpress Christmas 2010 : A. Favorite

Letterpress Christmas

A. Favorite’s letterpress holiday cards are perennial favorites of mine because they’re just so darn fun and clever. And there’s much oh so clever, vintage-inspired awesomeness in the new holiday card collection again this year. The diner ticket-inspired What You’ll Have Bill letterpress is too cool, and did you ever think you’d see a boxing-style matchup between The Little Drummer Boy and The Three Wise Men? Me, either!
