I think this is such a clever concept from Mom Inc Daily, a site all about design and creativity from a super talented group of designerly moms. The contributors behind the blog, including creator and stationery designer Cat Seto, share their tips for balancing motherhood with their creative businesses, and there are great tips and plenty of inspiration for mommies and non-mommies alike.

These free printable bookmarks were created as a way to remind visitors to bookmark or subscribe to the site, and I think it’s such a fun and memorable reminder. So, head on over to Mom Inc Daily to get these lovely bookmarks, and stick around and bookmark the site while you’re there!

Paper Cake Gift Card Holder by Tracey Mason

Can you believe that every element, minus the mini pinecones and berries, in this breathtaking cake is made out of paper? Pretty amazing, isn’t it? The incredibly talented creator of this beautifully handcrafted wedding treasure, which doubles as a gift card holder, is Tracey Mason, and I bow to her paper crafting greatness.

Tracey was inspired to create the cake when she found out that one of her good friend’s sons was getting married, and she kept the theme and colors for their wintry Utah wedding in mind as she created each detail. How honored the bride and groom must have been to receive this on their special day.

Tracey also created a coordinating card, embellished with the couple’s initials:

We’re heading into the homestretch (are you ready?), and Christmas is now just a few short days away, but there’s still time to deck your halls with oh so pretty paper decorations, courtesy of Jessica from How About Orange and Lauren from Lauren Elise Crafted (at The Knotty Bride), who have shared great tutorials for creating awesome 5-point paper snowflakes and lovely book page garlands + paper tree decorations, respectively.

Dear Santa, My Font Wishlist is Long-ish…

Yes, Santa, I know that my font wishlist is always insanely long, especially now that I’m keeping better track via the Fontly Five. But I’ve really, really tried to be a good girl this year, so maybe you might even consider tucking Cyclone or Brownstone into my stocking? I know, I know, that’s a lot to ask, but several of the fonts on my wishlist this year are on sale, and a few are even free, like Easy Slant (above) by Cameron Blazer of Cottage Industrialist (by the way, congrats on your releasing your first font, Cameron!), so all you’ll have to do is put them onto a flash drive for me, easy peasy.

And, if you really don’t want to lug around all of those fonts, Santa, then a gift certificate from MyFonts would be very welcome, too. Oh, and you might want to exclude, uh, Liebe Erika, Verna, Ht Libreria, HT Pasticceria, and Changing, even though they’re on my list, because, um, I may or may not have kinda sorta bought them already because I wasn’t able to resist when I was putting together my letter to you. Thanks, Santa! I’ll be leaving you at least a dozen cookies and a big, cold glass of full fat milk this year as my way of saying that I think you’re the best!
