Blue Star Letterpress Hello Card

Hello, indeed! These Blue Star letterpress cards from Ragamuffin Press are absolutely gorgeous, aren’t they? I love how all of the different hues of blue and white look against the chipboard and how the design continues onto the back of the card. What a wonderfully unique design.

Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 Collection

It feels like forever since I’ve featured a scrapbooking paper collection, but I had to break the scrapbooking silence to share Cosmo Cricket’s latest, Circa 1934. In their previous collections, Cosmo Cricket has dabbled heavily in mid-century influenced style, and in the Circa 1934 collection they’ve gone back a little further, into the sepia-toned 1930’s, for inspiration. I’m really digging the colors and the ornate patterns on the papers in this collection. Plenty of inspiration to be found here:

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays

I’m getting ready to wrap things up for the year, and I hope that you’re getting ready to start your holiday break, too. 2010 has flown by, and what a year it’s been! I hope that you’ve had a great one, and I am very grateful to all of you for taking the time to visit Paper Crave. I’m so thankful  for your comments, emails, tweets, and links throughout the year, and maybe I’m biased, but I truly think that I have some of the most kick butt (am I allowed to say “butt” in a holiday post?) readers around. Seriously, you gals and guys are awesome. Thank you!

Be safe, enjoy your holiday festivities, and I’ll see you back here in January with paper cravings galore. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Psst … if you’re looking for some last minute paper crafts, gift tags, or other free holiday printables, be sure to check out my free printable gift tags, lots of festive freebies, a few more festive freebiesfree printable holiday goodies from Love vs. Design, and printables in pink.

And if you have a little time to do some paper-centric reading during your break, I’ve been sharing thoughts on what trends I think we’ll see in wedding invitation design in 2011 over at Invitation Crush: Envelopes, Details & Postcards, Color, and Style & Inspiration. Much of this info is applicable the non-wedding stationery niche, too, and I’d love to read your thoughts and predictions for the coming year.
