Ah, fonts that remind me of grade school teachers with the cool multi-pronged chalk thingies that they’d use to lay out lines on the chalkboard so students could practice their cursive writing are always on my wishlist.
I’m enjoying the swirly flourishes in this font, which also features lots of ligatures — always a good thing.
I can’t get enough of these retro inspired calligraphy scripts, and Marmalade has my attention. I think this would be a great option for invitations with a slightly less formal feel than those that feature script fonts like Bickham and Burgues.
This fun font from Jukebox Type was inspired by the cover of a 1950′s children’s Halloween activity book. Great for those retro inspired projects!
