The Wedding Invitation Ideas Lookbook

Wedding Invitation Ideas

I’ve been bursting at the seams to tell you about a new project that I’ve been working on behind the scenes over at Invitation Crush, and today is finally the day that I get to share! The new project is the Wedding Invitation Ideas lookbook, and it’s due to launch in early spring.

So, what is it? The lookbook is an annual publication, distributed virtually and filled with wedding invitations and save the dates from super talented invitation designers. My hope is that the lookbook will become a great resource for couples searching for the perfect paper goodies for their big day.

I’ll be taking submissions for the lookbook through March 11, 2011, and I’m looking for wedding invitations and save the dates in a variety of styles and at a variety of price points, so if you’re an invitation designer and would like to submit some of your work for consideration, then I’d love to hear from you!

You can download a submission form and an information sheet with more details about the project right here, and if you’d like to keep up to date with what’s going on with the Wedding Invitation Ideas lookbook project, you can sign up for the Invitation Crush mailing list, follow me over on Twitter, or like the Invitation Crush page that I recently set up on Facebook (please do!).

I’m so excited about this project, and I hope that you will be, too!

2011 Paper Source Wedding Invitation Collection

Scallops Laser Cut Wedding Invitations

I had a little squee-fest a couple of weeks ago on Invitation Crush after I received the newest Paper Source catalog and had a look at their 2011 wedding invitation collection. Now that I have higher quality images than the scans that I posted a couple of weeks ago – hey, I was excited and couldn’t wait to share – I wanted to share some peeks at the new collection over here, too.

My favorite suite from the collection has to be the Scallops design (above). I love the laser cut details, and the red and white palette is simply lovely. I also like that there are several embossed designs in the 2011 collection. You can check out all of the new designs over at Paper Source.

Cute Cards by LadyLucas

Lady Lucas Greeting Cards

These greeting cards by LadyLucas are seriously kawaii! I’m a big fan of food-themed greetings, of which there are many in the LadyLucas collection, and the Batty Birthday card is so fun – love that there are fangs on the balloon, too.

LadyLucas carries greetings for all sorts of occasions, and their Etsy shop features more kawaii illustrations in the form of art prints, a coloring book, and activity pages for kids.
