Sixpenny Press Letterpress Cards

Striped Letterpress Cards

These letterpress cards by Sixpenny Press exemplify the fact that beauty is often found in simplicity. I love that they’ve taken a simple striped pattern and made it say “hey, look at me!” by scaling it up and using bold, solid colors to give the design big impact.

And check out this set of modern circle patterned cards from Sixpenny, too. Again, big impact with a combination of clean, modern pattern and bold color. Love it!

Wild Ink Press Patterned Cards

Wild Ink Press

I was really excited to see that Wild Ink Press recently launched their very own shop! Now, you can find their lovely letterpress cards and invitations in both their Etsy shop and in their new shop, which looks fantastic.

Check out these gorgeously textured and patterned cards from Wild Ink’s “My Sons” series, a tribute to Rebekah’s two beautiful children, adopted from Korea and Pakistan. The four hand-drawn designs were inspired by the two countries, and 20% of the profits from the sale of these cards goes to international orphan care.

50+ Bloggers’ Best Recipes Charity Cookbook

Charity Cookbook

I was honored to be asked to participate in the 50+ Favorite Bloggers | 50+ Best Recipes cookbook  for charity (more sneak peeks here) a little while back, and I’m excited to be able to share that not only is it now on sale, but you can purchase it as either an e-book or a printed book! The cookbook will be on sale for just two weeks at just $10 for either the e-book or for the printed version, from now through August 31st, and 100% of the money raised from the sale will be given to the American Red Cross to help the many people who have been affected by recent natural disasters around the world.

Many thanks to Missy Smith of How Does She, who put this project together, and to Heather from Chickabug, who designed this yummy e-book. And also a big thank you to Paper Coterie, who was willing to donate 100% of the supplies and 100% of the cost of printing for this amazing cause.

If you’d like to help spread the word, please feel free to grab the button below and link to http://recipestohelp.bigcartel.com, where the cookbook can be purchased. Thank you!

Joseph’s Lacrosse Bar Mitzvah Invitations

Lacrosse Bar Mitzvah Invitations

Okay, now these are some seriously cool Bar Mitzvah invitations. This completely clever design was created by Luscious Verde and features a hand drawn, hand stitched paper lacrosse stick that was printed on textured paper to give the dimensional feel of the actual sports equipment.

The more classic design of the main invitation showcases white lithography printing against a deep, navy blue backdrop and provides a nice contrast to the playful lacrosse sticks. And personalized stationery, featuring a lacrosse stick motif, ties the suite together very nicely. I know that guys aren’t typically squeeing about invitations, but I’ll bet that Joseph was pretty stoked to have these unique invites as part of his celebration.

Mylo’s Colorful Birth Announcements

Mylo Birth Announcement

Omigosh, these birth announcements are so darling! Minneapolis based designer, Brooke Lunneborg, and her husband Matt created these wonderfully colorful, accordion fold announcements for Mylo, the newest addition to their family.

Accordion Fold Birth Announcement

Inspired by the name “MYLO”, the couple created a four color, four panel announcement that features the letters of the little cutie’s name in playful, rounded type with bold background patterns on one side and two end panels with details about Mylo and a super sweet photo of the little guy on the other. Brooke and Matt wanted to create an announcement that would make people say, “Wow, I’ve never seen an announcement like this,” and I think that they’ve done just that with this memorable design.
