Whimsy Press Wedding Gift Wrap

Whimsy Press has a gorgeous new gift wrap collection called Love & Marriage. I can’t get enough of their gift wrap and inspiring gift wrap “in action” pictures, and I just adore the “Love is Lovely” gift wrap pictured above. Such a beautiful color scheme, with the buttery yellow and pale blue. If only gift wrap this awesome were around when I was in school, I totally would’ve used it for my book covers, though I don’t know that any of my books would’ve been worthy! Well, maybe the Calculus book.

Rag & Bone Bindery has quite an informative post on their blog about their recent trip to the New York International Gift Fair. As an independent business owner who has never attended a trade show, I’ve always been curious about just what’s involved. I love these postcards, illustrated by Jaime Zollars, who I recently discovered was also behind the wonderful blog Paper Forest. The postcards depict fairytale landscapes from far away, and the atmospheric illustrations really set my imagination going.

Items like these are perfect to have in your collection for days when you need some inspiration, or when wanderlust is upon you.
