Offbeat Collection by Basic Grey

Offbeat Scrapbooking Paper by Basic Grey

My paper lust continues for pretty much anything Basic Grey puts out there. I’m absolutely loving the patterns and colors in Offbeat, one of their newest paper collections. Olive greens, yellows, oranges, muted reds, and chocolate browns are featured prominently, and I’m really digging the little radishes, pears and peas in the “Atypical” design.

Featured above (clockwise, from top left): Radical, Peculiar, Atypical, Unconventional, Novel, and Impromptu.

Bubbo Tubbo Calligraphy

Mmm,drool…calligraphy. I was so jazzed to discover the work of Natasha Mileshina, a.k.a. Bubbo Tubbo, via perfectbound. Her illustration and calligraphy work is right up my alley, and the custom journals she created for Julie over at perfectbound are fantastic! Natasha can make even vulgarities beautiful.

Check out her Flickr for much more eye candy and her Etsy shop, Things from Bubbo Tubbo, for illustrations and photographs. More pretties:

Eco Friendly Paper : Smock

Eco Friendly Paper
Smock Letterpress Bamboo Paper

I’m loving, well, just about everything from Syracuse, New York based letterpress studio Smock. They create a little bit of everything, including ultra elegant custom wedding invitations, thank you notes, party invitations, and gift wrap. Their work is a mix of lovely, subdued color and sophisticated graphics:

Smock is the first print shop in the U.S. to offer printing on luxury bamboo paper, a soft, thick, and elegantly textured paper made from bamboo, of course, which is a highly sustainable and renewable resource. Read more about Smock’s dedication to bamboo here.

Though they don’t seem to have an e-commerce presence as of yet, Smock’s line can be purchased on their site and found in many paperies in the U.S. and beyond. You can search for a location here.

The Mayberry Sparrow Hand Carved Stamps

The Mayberry Sparrow Hand Carved Stamps

I’m completely taken with these super kawaii hand carved stamps from The Mayberry Sparrow. The retro ice cube trailer stamp would work perfectly on a project using the Mr. Campy mini trailer paper, wouldn’t it? And I’m always a sucker for a smiling mushroom and retro kitchen appliances.

The Mayberry Sparrow also offers custom name stamps featuring a variety of cute original illustrations from which to choose. Oh, and if you purchase the retro mixer and toaster stamps between now and September 7, 2008, you’ll receive a free little piece of toast rubber stamp. Tempting!

Spark Stationery Henry Collection

Please welcome Spark Stationery, Paper Crave’s newest sponsor! I’m loving Spark’s card line, which includes everything from the wonderfully whimsical Henry collection (“I’m Sorry Henry” shown above), inspired by their own cutie dachshund and printed on 100% reclaimed cotton paper, to the Bittersweet Ink collection, which includes various gothic modern designs and funny snarkxpressions.

Spark also offers custom letterpress wedding and couture stationery design services, as well as custom printing services.
