I’m loving the work of calligrapher / hand lettering artist Jill Bell. Her portfolio is a feast for the eyes and includes a variety of gorgeous hand lettered logos and illustrations. So inspiring!

Jill has also created several modern handwriting fonts, which means that we all can have a little bit of her talent for our d.i.y. wedding invites, greeting cards, graphic design projects, digital scrapbooks, and whatever else we can think of.

My Favorite Things Digital Kit

I always look forward to seeing artistic collaborations, and this digital mega kit created by Yasmine Surovec of A Print a Day in collaboration with fellow designer and illustrator Samantha Hahn is just fab! The theme of the kit is My Favorite Things, and it’s so fun to see the different approaches and styles of the two designers, in addition to seeing some of their favorite things.

Little Acorn 2009 Squirrel Valentine

Studio on Fire Design & Letterpress

I recently discovered Beast Pieces, the blog of Minneapolis design and letterpress shop Studio on Fire and, wow, talk about an amazing portfolio.

Studio on Fire has letterpressed a little bit of everything, from posters and invitations to postcards and stationery suites that include amazing die cut business cards. And omigosh, I’m swooning over this promo piece that they printed for Swink!

I’m also excited that Studio on Fire has their own line of paper goods, which includes a card line and a desk line. Check out more here.
