I’m loving the new Birds of a Feather series by Satsuma Press. The letterpressed feather illustrations are beautiful — modern, organic, and evocative. This is the first set in the series and includes a set of letterpress cards and a letterpress print. I can’t wait to see future sets!

Wiley Valentine at Luxe Paperie

I first came across Wiley Valentine this past December when I was researching the 2008 Letterpress Christmas series, and I was instantly taken with their style, which is a combination of intricate, vintage inspired illustrations and flourishes with a little edge thrown into the mix.

So, I was delighted to see that Luxe Paperie is now carrying the Wiley Valentine line of letterpress greeting cards and imprintable notes and invitations. Now you can pick up some Wiley Valentine when you’re shopping all of the letterpress pretties over at Luxe Paperie!

Tooth Fairy Kits by Notion Farm

This goes into the how-did-I-not-know-about-this-before category, but I’m sure glad that I know about these wonderful tooth fairy kits now, thanks to Oh Happy Day. No detail has been forgotten in Notion Farm’s beautifully designed letterpress kit, which includes a tiny envelope for the lost tooth, the official seal of the Tooth Fairy, and a silkscreened “deposit bag” for all of your tooth transactions. What a wonderful way to mark these childhood milestones and to record them for the future.

His vintage modern style is so much fun, and I think it’s cool that he’s made his art accessible as greeting cards, in addition to offering art prints. Cards are $5 each, and art prints are $35.
