Egg Press Gift Wrap + 2010 Calendar

Egg Press Gift Wrap

I’m always on the lookout for snazzy new gift wrap designs, and my heart skipped a beat the moment I saw the new gift wrap collection from Egg Press over at Luxe Paperie. This is the first ever gift wrap collection from Egg Press, and I certainly hope that it won’t be the last because I’m totally digging the designs, which feature Egg Press’ illustrations in a primary-colored palette. I’m obsessed with white on navy lately, so of course my favorite is the Blue Bite Marks. What’s yours?

Pup & Pony Letterpress Cards

I’m absolutely taken with the retro inspired designs on these letterpress greeting cards by Pup & Pony Press. So adorable! Wendy Emery, the founder and graphic designer / illustrator behind Pup & Pony, also creates fantastic linocut cards and even a few onesies featuring her illustrations. Check out the entire collection at the Pup & Pony Press Etsy shop, and find out more about the shop and Wendy here.

Crystal Kluge Rubber Stamps

Crystal Kluge Rubber Stamps

A couple of weeks ago, I made one of my semi-regular trips to Paper Source, and while I was browsing the rubber stamp section I noticed several stamps featuring lettering that looked very familiar. I thought to myself, “hey, this looks like Crystal Kluge’s lettering work,” as I reached to pick up a stamp to see who produced them. Well, my suspicions were confirmed because Crystal Kluge does, indeed have a rubber stamp collection at Paper Source! How did I not know this before now? The stamps would be perfect for all types of invitations (wedding, party) and cards — use them with metallic inks or heat emboss them for a wonderful effect.

The Paper Source website carries several of the stamp designs (scroll down a little to see them), but my local Paper Source had a much wider selection, so if you live near a physical PS location, then I’d recommend that you pay a visit. What am I thinking? Like I need to tell you to go visit a Paper Source! Have a great weekend, everyone, and don’t forget that the last day to submit your Paper Crave reader survey and enter to win one of two copies of Home, Paper, Scissors is Monday!

Hila Rawet Karni Paper Jewelry

Hila Rawet Karni

Ann Martin recently featured the absolutely stunning work of jewelry designer Hila Rawet Karni, and I’m in awe. Hila’s Kipul collection features pieces created using folded sheets of paper, and the result is a feast for the eyes. Sophisticated, elegant, and intricate are just a few adjectives that come to mind when I see this collection. It inspires me to broaden my view of what paper can do! Timeless Paper Handmade Place Cards

I’m completely taken with the beautiful, handmade place cards that Timeless Paper creates. The three dimensional cards include ethereal butterflies, falling leaves, and even a peacock (love those peacocks) that will sit on the edge of a wine glass and add a touch of whimsy and elegance to any wedding or soiree.
