I have got some serious lurve going on for these peachy Ra Ra Riot screen printed gig posters by Two Arms. They’re kind of gritty, kind of retro, and completely awesome. Downside: they’re making me hungry for peaches, which aren’t readily available in New England in the middle of winter. Ah well, I’ll just dream of warmer days and juicy peaches while I admire Two Arms’ work.

Custom Graphic Novels Featuring Your Story by Rigel Stuhmiller

Okay, so I realize that most of us don’t have $40,000 to spend on a custom graphic novel that tells the story of our romance, our family, or our wedding, but if money were no object, then how totally cool would it be to have Rigel Stuhmiller create a custom graphic novel just for us? Yeah, pretty cool, I know.

Rigel is currently offering to create a completely custom, 32 page graphic novel of your story. She’ll come to where you’re at and will spend five days with you, collecting reference photos and making sketches, and when she returns home from her visit with you, she’ll develop a storyline, write a script, and transform all of the information that she’s gathered to create your custom graphic novel. When she’s finished, you’ll receive 40 hardbound copies of your book, a unique keepsake that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Rigel has extensive experience storytelling and illustrating, and her storyboards have been used in commercials and film. Her illustrations have been featured in Daily Candy, Town & Country Magazine, and The Today Show.

Blue Sky + Egg Press 2011 Target Collection

If you’re still on the lookout for oh so stylish organizational goodies for 2011, then this fantastic collaborative collection from organizational mavens, Blue Sky, and one of my letterpress favorites, Egg Press, may be just the thing for you. The new limited edition line made its debut in Target stores in late December, and it features super cool desk calendars, diary style planners, and wire ring-bound planners embellished with Egg Press’ signature patterns and illustrations. I’m also loving the fresh color palette in the collection, perfect for a fresh new year.

Weekly Wrap #54 : Hello Sandwich Gift Wrap Zine

An entire zine dedicated to gift wrapping?! This makes my gift wrap loving heart swell with delight. Ebony Bizys, the talented creator of the awesome new Hello Sandwich Gift Wrap Zine (available now in PDF form and soon as a hard copy, too), recently relocated to Tokyo after a decade plus stint at Vogue Living Australia, and the influence of her new surroundings can definitely be seen in her gift wrap zine, as well as on her blog, Hello Sandwich, where she talks craft, design, and art with a focus on Japan.
