Valentine’s Day Paper Cut Art by mrYen

Mr Yen Paper Cut Heart Key

mrYen’s shop is bursting with Valentine’s Day lovelies, and I have to say that I’m completely enamored with these sweet, hand cut initial heart keys. Order one with your sweetheart’s initial, or order multiple letters to spell out words. I love how the key looks when it’s framed. What a great gift idea, too, for anniversaries, weddings, or birthdays!

Weekly Wrap #55 : How to Tie the Perfect Gift Bow

Weekly Wrap Gift Wrapping Ideas

How to Tie a Gift Bow

How to Tie a Ribbon Bow

Tying the perfect gift bow can seem like an impossibility (to me, at least), but this tutorial from Becca at Flights of Fancy helps simplify the process, giving you clear step-by-step photos so you can create beautiful gift bows, too. I’m going to have to try out this technique on the next gift that I wrap because it doesn’t look too difficult at all, and the result is fantastic!

Check out the full tutorial over at Flights of Fancy, and have a great weekend, everyone!

From the Shop Friday : Paper Source Wedding Invitations

Paper Source Wedding Invitations

When I think of Paper Source, I usually think paper crafts and do-it-yourself supplies, but they also have a beautiful collection of wedding invitations, a few of which I’ve added to the shop section of the site this week. Many of the designs are available either flat printed or letterpress printed, and many suites incorporate lovely patterned papers and details like petal enclosures and pocket folders for added interest and flexibility.

Humorous Greeting Cards from Egg2Cake

Funny Greeting Cards

If you’re looking for fun and snarky greetings for unusual holidays, like Time Change Day or the Day After Thanksgiving, then these cards from Egg2Cake are just the thing for you. Kate Rivinus Blackman and Jamie Diersing, founders of this fun paper goods shop, specialize in designing products for parenting (check out their Momglish line for great gifts and cards for parents and parents to be), entertaining, and celebrating that are part playful, part practical, and sometimes quite profound. For instance, did you know that “desserts” spelled backwards is “stressed”? Whoah.
