Aaron Eiland

Aaron Eiland Sia Poster

I’m totally digging these gig posters by Aaron Eiland, especially the Sia poster above. So very cute, and great texture elements. Aaron’s work has a great, mid-century kind of vibe, lots of clean shapes, with textures added here and there for dimension. Love it! Check out a few more of my favorites from his portfolio below, and head over to his site to see much more of Aaron’s work. – via French Paper

Fickle Hill Letterpress Cards

Fickle Hill Letterpress Cards

Dogs raiding the fridge, cats reading bird watching books, helicopter dogs – Fickle Hill Press’ cards feature our furry friends doing some pretty fantastic things. You can purchase these, fun illustrated letterpress cards singly or in sets of 3 or 6, and be sure to head over to Fickle Hill’s shop to have a look at other incredible animal feats – a dog shopping for champagne, perhaps?

Kathleen Lolley

Kathleen Lolley Art Prints

Kathleen Lolley’s work is richly colored, slightly sinister, wonderfully surreal, and features many owls, so naturally I’m completely entranced by it. Storytelling and nature are prominent themes in Kathleen’s art, which reminds me a little bit of Hieronymus Bosch, one of my absolute favorite artists. Check out Kathleen’s paintings and other art pieces over on her site, and head over to her Etsy shop, Lolley, to see all of her wonderful art prints.

Weekly Wrap #88 : Confetti Halloween

Weekly Wrap

Confetti Stamped Treat Bags

I truly appreciate your support, your tweets, your posts, and your kind words about the launch of my new site, k.becca, this week. Thank you so much. You gals and guys totally made my week!

This week’s Weekly Wrap is one of the Halloween projects that I’ve shared on the new site : Confetti Stamped Halloween Treat Bags. It’s a super quick and simple project, and you can adapt your ink and bag colors to make confetti favor or treat bags for pretty much any occasion. You can find tips and additional details about this project over at k.becca, and I’ve included the video tutorial below.

Next week, my mom is coming up to visit from Pittsburgh, so I’ll be offline for most of the week, but I have lots of paper-iffic posts scheduled for all of next week (wouldn’t want your paper cravings to get out of hand while I’m gone), and I’ll see you back here in October! Wow, how is it going to be October already?
