Weekly Wrap #17 : Under a Blanket of Stars

Weekly Wrap

Paper Stars, Fuchsia, Orange Holiday Gift Wrap

How luxurious would it be to sleep under beautiful paper stars and wake up to a pile of gorgeously wrapped gifts (all for you, of course) at the foot of your bed? I love the pinks, oranges, and grays, not to mention the gorgeous patterns, in these gift wrappings, featuring handblocked wrapping paper from Danish textile company, Bungalow. Here’s more eye candy from their gift wrap line:

Weekly Wrap #16 : Polka Dot Elegance

Weekly Wrap

Polka Dot and Feather Gift Wrap

I found this week’s inspirational gift wrap via a wonderfully inspirational, new to me blog called A Gift Wrapped Life, which features many great tips and suggestions for gift giving, and plenty of gift wrap ideas, too. I love the use of polka dot paper in such an elegant fashion, and the feather just gives the package an ultra luxurious feel. Beautiful!

Unfortunately, the blog which originally featured this wonderful wrap idea doesn’t seem to exist anymore. How I wish I could’ve seen what other inspiration it surely held!

Nice Package DIY Inspiration Kits

I’m completely taken with the new themed DIY Inspiration Kits from the ladies at Nice Package. The kits feature all sorts of wonderful little bits and bobs that you can use to create inspired gift wrap and paper crafts. The new kits are Ice Cream Parlor, which features pretty pastel tags, ribbon, embellishments, and adorable ice cream spoons; and Wilderness Explorer, which features map flat notes, “merit badges”, twine, tags, and other woodsy fun stuff. You can purchase the kits at the Nice Package Big Cartel and Etsy shops.

Weekly Wrap #15 : By the Sea

Weekly Wrap

Ocean Theme Gift Wrap

I have to admit that I’m usually not a fan of ocean and coastal themed decor, but when done right it can be truly beautiful. I’m completely taken with this gift wrap idea that I spotted at Chez Fifi. I love the subdued palette and kanji print wrap, and the starfish and seaweed colored raffia embellishments are fantastic. Plus, the sand dollar used as a gift tag? Brilliant!

An ocean themed Weekly Wrap this week is actually quite fitting, as we’re supposed to get deluged over the next couple of days in these parts. Whether you’re facing a monsoon, as I likely will be, or you have gloriously sunny and warm weather, I wish you a happy weekend!

Paperdolls Gift Wrap

Paperdolls Gift Wrap

Have you checked out the Felt & Wire shop lately? If you’re a paper lover, then you should head over if you haven’t already … after you read this post, of course. They have a fantastic, curated collection of paper goods, and one of their newest additions is Paperdolls, whose bold, patterned gift wrap I’m totally digging. The Paperdolls Felt & Wire shop also features their patterned notecards, which are just as lovely as the gift wrap. Sneak a peek below, and get a load of those paper rosettes!
