Metallic Pen Gift Wrap

This hand-drawn gift wrap idea by Kate from Mini-eco has been popping up all over Pinterest lately, and every time I see it I smile because:

1) it looks like a really fun project … and easy, too!

2) it’s such a clean and modern look

3) as Kate from Mini-eco says, this gift wrap is “un-squashable” (always a plus if you have to ship a lot of your holiday gifts)

4) metallic pens and markers are making a comeback, which makes me so happy because I loved my stash of metallic pens when I was a kid. Does anyone else remember the metallic pens with an underlying color that outlined the metallic line when you wrote with it? I had a silver one with purple, and I loved that thing!

    I know exactly what you’re talking about! I used to pick up those and sea foam green gel pens from the dollar store all the time as a kid! Rite Aid had a bin of different colors on their counter 2 years ago and I picked up one of every color. Those are exactly what I thought of using when I saw this picture and thought it was hilarious you mentioned them!
