New Letterpress Stationery from Black Pearl Press

Black Pearl Press Stationery

Most of us probably throw the envelope away after opening a card or note, but I’ve no doubt that I’d quickly add any and all envelopes (as well as the notes) to my not so secret paper stash if they had beautiful liners like this new letterpress stationery line from Black Pearl Press. The new line features six designs and your choice of either a custom name or monogram to match the envelope design. – via Design*Sponge

Black Pearl is offering 25% off custom stationery through the end of January, so now would be the perfect time to treat yourself to luxe new stationery for the new year.

Lotta Bruhn Printable Animal Stickers

Lotta Bruhn Animal Stickers

I spotted these super cute printable animal stickers by illustrator Lotta Bruhn over at How About Orange, and I was instantly smitten. I love how the giraffe’s neck stretches over the turtle’s back, and the expression on the owl’s face is great! Thanks to Lotta for making these available for download. If you don’t have sticker paper, you could print these on cardstock and use double stick tape to attach them to anything, or you could use them to make some fantastic gift tags. Or how about a mobile for a baby’s room?

Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy winter, with all of its frosted window and snowstorm creating abilities, and I certainly live in a pretty good place for experiencing everything that winter has to offer. However, the sooty, sandy streets and brown grass do leave something to be desired.

The between-storm palette has left me craving color, so when I spotted Freshly Blended’s post about Three Sisters Ink, I couldn’t stop looking. I’m really digging the organic illustrations of Hannah Bureau, the artist behind Three Sisters Ink and, needless to say, I’m loving the rainbow of colors found in her work. Check out more at the Three Sisters Ink Etsy shop.

Hello Lucky New Website

A new year brings a new website for letterpress favorite, Hello! Lucky. I’m absolutely smitten with the adorable food illustrations in the “Greeting Cards” section. Animated food makes me smile every time, and the dancing ice cream treats and condiments remind me of the “Let’s All Go to the Lobby” cartoon that theaters used to show before a movie! Anyway, do you really need an excuse to check out Hello! Lucky?
