Orange Beautiful Letterpress Packaging

I had to pick my jaw up off the floor yesterday when I spotted a featured on Orange Beautiful’s new letterpress packaging over at The Dieline. What a fantastic concept, and the cards themselves are pretty great, too!

They’ve covered every detail, from the cancelled postage stamp to the routing barcode to the return address area on the back of the “envelope”, which tells you what’s inside. But my favorite part has to be the little custom stamps that tell you whether the set features warm or cool toned envelopes. I’ve been obsessed with stamps lately, and seeing those made me squeal a little. Check out Orange Beautiful’s entire line of Lattice letterpress cards, which feature this awesome packaging.

Louella Press on Etsy

I’m so happy to see that the lovely Louella Press, whose engraved wedding invitation work I just adore, has recently opened an Etsy shop, filled with gorgeous ready to order letterpress greeting cards and prints. Cosmo Cricket Boyfriend, Jolly By Golly, and Earth Love Collections

Okay, I need to calm down and catch my breath because I just discovered that one of my favorite scrapbook companies, Cosmo Cricket, has not one, but THREE new paper collections! It’s almost too much for me to handle because they’re all fantastic. I definitely see some paper shopping in my near future.

First up is the Boyfriend collection, probably my favorite of the the three, though it’s so tough to pick favorites when everything is so cool. Eep, I just love the paper with the little clothes on the clotheslines:

Though it may seem a bit early for Christmas, those of you who craft and make scrapbooks know that you need to plan ahead for the holidays. The Jolly By Golly collection is sure to give you plenty of ideas for the upcoming Christmas season:

The third new collection from Cosmo Cricket is called Earth Love, and I’m absolutely loving the color palette of muted blues, corals, and yellows, as well as the nature-centric patterns (love those mushrooms!):

Custom Letterpress Farm Invitations by Elum

These “farm wedding” invitations, letterpress printed by Elum and designed by a Vermont couple who were married at The Skinner Barn in Vermont, really caught my eye. I’m digging the barn image among the rolling hills, and the animal silhouettes on the reception card are a great touch. Barn weddings are very hot right now, and I’m looking forward to seeing the invitations that these types of weddings are sure to inspire.

Eco Friendly Paper : Luckyou Recycled Paper Accessories

The versatility of paper as a medium never ceases to amaze me, as does the creativity and originality of those working with paper as a medium. Spotted on swissmiss — paper jewelry and bowls made completely from recycled paper, fashion magazines to be more specific, from Swiss designer Stefanie Luginbühl of Luckyou. The necklaces are produced by mostly women in the townships of Capetown, South Africa, so the more necklaces that are sold, the more people who can get a job and income from their families. I love to hear these kinds of stories!
