Erin Jang Wedding Invitations

I have a soft spot for whimsical, hand drawn illustrations, and I’m loving what seems to be a growing trend in featuring this type of illustration on custom designed wedding invitations. I spotted the invitations above over on Once Wed and was instantly smitten by designer/illustrator Erin Jang’s work. Check out Erin’s blog to see more of her fantastic projects.

A New Website for Bird & Banner

I’ve been a big fan of Bird & Banner since I first saw one of their wedding invitation designs, and I was so excited to see over on Oh Joy! that they’ve recently launched a brand new website to showcase their amazing work. They’ve also added a blog, and I didn’t realize that they have an Etsy shop where you can purchase some of their card designs, not to mention the awesome “City of Brotherly Love” pretzel bags shown below. Here’s a little eye candy to get you started before you wander off to check everything out at the new Bird & Banner site:

Quilled Paper Keys

Ann Martin Quilled Paper Keys

I was taking my daily (virtual) stroll around the internet yesterday and spotted these lovely antique keys over at CRAFT. I’ve recently become very interested in antique key designs and … wait, what’s that? These keys are made of paper?!

Yes, this ring of beautiful keys is a replica of antique keys and is made of quilled paper by paper artist, Ann Martin. When I first saw them, it took me a little while to see that they weren’t actually real keys because they’re amazingly realistic. Check out a larger image of the keys, as well as much paper inspiration over at Ann’s blog, All Things Paper.
