I was recently introduced to a new stationery company called Paper Culture, and I’m loving their fresh, modern approach to stationery design. Paper Culture specializes in baby announcements, baby shower invitations, and other party invitations and announcements, and their focus is not only on bold, colorful designs and modern typography but the environment, as well. Martha Stewart Craft Punches

I made a quick trip to my local Michael’s yesterday for a little craft supply shopping. Unfortunately, I didn’t find what I was looking for, but I did see lots of new craft punches from the Martha Stewart Crafts line. I came home with the pretty snowflake punch above (I resisted temptation and didn’t get the cute ice cream cone punch), and I saw plenty of cool paper punches for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and many other occasions, as well as more general punches, neat edge and threading punches, and awesome 3-D punches.

It looks like the Martha Stewart Crafts brand has expanded online, as well. I see that Scrapbook.com is carrying a great lineup of the craft punches, and you can find lots of pretty craft supplies, as always, over at the Martha Stewart Crafts site. Here’s a little preview of what’s available at Scrapbook.com, which seems to have the best variety:

Yee Haw Industries Old Time Forest Pickers Series

Yee-Haw Industries’ Old-Time Forest Pickers series is so much fun! I’m loving the illustrations, created by Bjorn Rune Lie, which include Fiddling Fox, Banjo Picking Beaver, Guitar Strumming Owl, Backpacking Bunny, and Washtub Bass Playing Coon. The illustrations are available as letterpress art prints, letterpress greeting cards, and super cool 2010 letterpress calendars:

Nora Aoyagi Notebooks and Prints

I’m really digging these sweet Musical Animals pocket notebooks by Nora Aoyagi. The simple black and white palette makes the illustrations pop, and who doesn’t love a bunny with an accordian? A set of three mini notebooks is $10 over at Nora’s Etsy shop, where you can also find super cool prints like this one:

Aesop’s Fables Posters by Ink+Wit

Ink+Wit just launched a line of posters featuring stories from Aesop’s Fables. The first published poster is inspired by The Hare and the Tortoise, and I’m enjoying the whimsical illustrations and mix of line drawing with lovely pops of color. I’m a fan of anything with a fable or fairytale theme and can’t wait to see the other posters as they’re released!
