2010 Calendar Roundup, Part 7

Alright, so I know that I said that part six of my calendar roundup was the final one, but I ended up finding about a dozen more calendars that I really like, so I just had to do another roundup. This is the final, final one … unless I manage to find more awesome calendars. No promises either way!

How clever is the Apple a Day letterpress calendar by Vik Design? Every day, you peel the variety sticker from your apple and place it in the corresponding date area, and by the end of the year you have a colorful record of your daily apply eating. A great idea for kids and adults:

As someone who loves vintage mason jars, I was instantly taken with Brown Parcel Press’ 2010 Mason Jar calendar:

My Free Printable Holiday Tags

Free Printable Gift Tags

One of my favorite yearly holiday projects is designing gift tags. I try to make a different set every year, and this year I had lots of fun with a teal, green, and pink palette and wintry illustrations. I shared this set of ten wintry holiday tags over at Domestifluff yesterday, and I thought that you guys might enjoy them, too. You can download the tags over at Domestifluff.

Collage Press Joyride

I first spotted Collage Press’ Joyride scrapbooking collection back in September, and I was instantly taken with the awesome vintage inspired palette and graphics. Plus, how cute are the little skiers in the top left pattern below?! The collection was inspired by a vintage Lifesavers ad, which just makes me like it that much more. The patterned papers in the collection are great for scrapbook layouts with a vintage feel and all sorts of fun, wintry paper crafts:

Carrotflower by Crystal Kluge

Carrotflower by Crystal Kluge

Crystal Kluge continually amazes me with her calligraphy and font work, and my jaw just about hit the floor when I saw her newest, Carrotflower. The font itself is so fun and whimsical, drawn from one of Crystal’s most commonly used lettering styles, and it will work well in all sorts of projects, from invitations and announcements to paper craft and scrapbook projects.

The coordinating Carrotflower icon sets — Invitation, Christmas, and Celebration — are an absolute must see for stationery and wedding designers. These super sweet illustrative icons are just perfect for wedding invitations, holiday cards, and so many other paper goodies. The Carrotflower font and all of the icon sets are available in the Carrotflower Stationery Kit, and you can purchase them separately, as well.
