I officially finished with my 2010 calendar features a little while ago, but I just had to sneak in a calendar that was recently released. Studio on Fire’s entry in the 2010 calendar sphere is representative of the completely awesome letterpress work that they create year ’round. Each month features a beautiful illustration by selected designers, and the calendar is also special because it is a decade marker for Studio on Fire, which opened its doors in 1999. Here’s to decades more!

I recently spotted the work of designer Shaz Madani over at Share Some Candy, and it was love at first sight. I’m completely enamored with the campaign that Shaz put together for Arctic Paper, which features multi-layered paper cuts with a fantastic textural feel. Paper Source has a tutorial and downloadable templates so you can make your very own skulk of valentine-y foxes. Yep, that’s what a group of foxes is called, a skulk. I learn something new every day with this blog, I tell ya.

Bee Things Lunch Bags

Okay, these screen printed lunch bags from Bee Things are so incredibly cute that it almost makes me wish that I was back in school so I could have the snazziest bag ever for my daily lunch of a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, Capri-Sun, and mini bag of chips. Actually, I think that these cuties would make great favor bags, too, and using them as favor packaging would allow me to avoid the unpleasantness of being a socially awkward teen all over again.
