Nice Package DIY Inspiration Kits

I’m completely taken with the new themed DIY Inspiration Kits from the ladies at Nice Package. The kits feature all sorts of wonderful little bits and bobs that you can use to create inspired gift wrap and paper crafts. The new kits are Ice Cream Parlor, which features pretty pastel tags, ribbon, embellishments, and adorable ice cream spoons; and Wilderness Explorer, which features map flat notes, “merit badges”, twine, tags, and other woodsy fun stuff. You can purchase the kits at the Nice Package Big Cartel and Etsy shops.

Flora and Fauna Letterpress

I’m thoroughly enjoying all of the letterpress pretties from Los Angeles area letterpress shop, Flora and Fauna Press, who specialize in oh so pretty letterpress wedding invitations and greeting cards for all occasions. I’m loving the hummingbird card and the cute mustache Father’s Day card (both included below). You can check out their whole line at Flora and Fauna. Thanks, Christine!

The Bungaloo Posters and Art Prints

The Bungaloo Screen Print

It seems that I’ve formed a bit of an obsession over gig posters. My love for them isn’t new, but I’m discovering so many awesome, new to me artists lately, including John Vogl, aka The Bungaloo, whose imaginative work would look great on my walls. And you’ve got to read some of the humorous comments that he’s made in the individual poster and print descriptions. Hilarious!

Very Inviting Paper

I’m really enjoying the collection of cards and invitations from newly opened paper shop, Very Inviting Paper. They create note cards and invitations for all sorts of occasions — wedding, kids and baby, and everyday note cards, most of which can be personalized for you. Many of the paper goods in the Very Inviting Paper line feature fun illustrations that have been hand drawn and watercolored by Susan, the shop’s owner. Here are just a few of my favorites:

Emma van Leest Papercuts

Emma van Leest Papecuts

I am in complete awe over the evocative work of Melbourne, Australia based paper artist, Emma van Leest, whose intricate papercut work is truly amazing. I love the layered, dimensional quality of her work and her use of different colored papers to achieve this look in certain works. Her attention to detail is rather mindblowing:
