Weekly Wrap #69 : Pretty Paper Flower Toppers

I love this crepe paper flower idea from Jessica at How About Orange. These pretty little blooms would make terrific gift toppers and embellishments, and they’d be a lovely finishing touch for favor boxes and bags. Jessica shows us how to make our very own bouquet of crepe paper flower embellishments right here.

Bookeyed Jack + Bookeyed Suzanne by Crystal Kluge

Oh, do I ever look forward to a new font by Crystal Kluge, and this time she’s released two at once! I’m already imagining Bookeyed Jack and Bookeyed Suzanne in action, bringing life to wedding invitations, stationery, and graphic design projects that call for a hand-lettered touch.

Bookeyed Jack might give me the side-eye if I called him “lovely”, so instead I’ll say that he’s handsome and strong, with a bit of mischief on the side.

Now Bookeyed Suzanne, she’s a real looker. She’s a “modern girl with vintage charm”, and her lovely serifs and swashes fill me with delight.

The Petals Collection from A Little Hut

I’m totally excited to see the new Petals Collection by Patricia Zapata of A Little Hut! Patricia always creates such modern, sophisticated paper goodies, and the new collection of paper flowers is absolutely lovely.

The Petals Collection features 7 different petal shapes (in both PDF and SVG formats) that can be mixed and matched to create a number of different flowers that are just the thing for embellishing scrapbook projects, handmade cards, and gifts. The flowers would also make oh so pretty accents on wedding reception tables or wedding/party favors or … well, the possibilities are endless!
