Holly Day Cards

I’m getting a kick out of the Tommy Perez’s “Holly Day Cards” which, in addition to featuring quotes from some of my most favorite Christmas movies, are pretty darn slick looking, too. Love that ribbon-y type! Each card is a two color screenprint (enclosed in a one color silkscreened shipping envelope), and Tommy made the cards in a few different colorways, including festive red and white, red and yellow, and metallic gold and white on black.

Spark Impress Wedding Invitations

Today I want to share a little sneak peek at Spark’s gorgeous new collection, Spark Impress, which features unique invitation suites that range in style from ultra clean and modern to oh so sophisticated and classic, with a little bit of everything in between.

Spark Impress is a blueprint for what’s next in the design studio at Spark, and many of the new designs incorporate foil stamping, die-cutting, and intricate finishing methods (all done in-house), in addition to the gorgeous letterpress printing that Spark is known for.

Designs in the collection can be purchased as-is, with minor modifications, or can be used as starting points for more custom projects. Love the color palette and unique papers in one suite and the shape, size, and artwork from another? Combine the elements that you love to create a completely unique design for your big day!

Hi, everyone! It’s hard to believe that the holiday break is already over, and I hope that those of you who took some time off had a chance to relax and enjoy it. I feel a little rusty after having been away for over a week, but I’m ready to start easing back into things and catching up on all of the stuff that’s been going on over the past couple of weeks. Weekly Wrap #100 : Happy Holidays

This is my last post of 2011, and it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly because it’s also the 100th “Weekly Wrap” feature (wahoo!). For this week’s post, I made simple patterned paper, wrapped it with some of Knot & Bow’s silver glitter twine (I bought the silver/gold glitter twine duo, and I absolutely love both), and made a special tag to wish all of you happy holidays. Thank you so much for helping to make 2011 a great year and for taking the time to read, comment, email, share, and check out what’s going on at Paper Crave. I truly appreciate it.

2012 Bella Figura Wedding Invitation Collection

I’m just about ready to sign off for a little holiday break, but before I go, wow, do I ever have some crave-worthy paper to share with you.

Bella Figura’s 2012 wedding invitation collection just launched, and it is absolutely stunning. The 83 new designs include work by five new artists – Beth Barr of Two Blue Doors, Nicole Black (The Left-Handed Calligrapher), Gina Dean and Lauren Richel Kelly of Ditto Paper, and Carolynn Giordano of Two Brunettes – who join 26 additional indie artists whose designs are represented in the Bella Figura collection.

The beautiful new invitation collection offers so many dreamy designs and printing options and techniques for brides and grooms-to-be. Metallics, which were big in 2011 and will be even bigger in 2012, are well represented, and Bella Figura now offers foil stamping (swoon) and foil edging (double swoon) in 12 colors, which range from more traditional gold, silver, and copper to non-traditional colors like fuchsia, indigo, forest, and teal.

Also new are three neon letterpress ink colors (YES!) – hot pink, lime-aid, and day-glo – for those of you looking to do something bold and daring with your wedding invites, and I love that they’ve created a custom postage stamp design to coordinate with each new design in the collection.
