This Is Halloween from K.becca

I always have so much fun designing for Halloween, and this year has been no exception. I recently launched my “This Is Halloween” collection over on K.becca, and I decided to go a little geometric this year with digital papers and journaling cards that feature simple dots, lines, stripes, and other subtle, geometric patterns.

But I couldn’t resist adding some cute and created a collection of sentiments that are a combination of hand lettered words and typewriter type, plus hand drawn die cutting files that include ghosts, pumpkins, and stars. Check ’em out:

In addition, I recently opened a shop over at Creative Market (yay!) and have two sets of Halloween vector clip art for sale that you can use in both personal and commercial projects, like greeting cards, photo cards, stationery, rubber stamp designs, website elements, and invitations. I’ll be adding more to the shop soon!

Weekly Wrap #174 : Black & White Gift Wrap Inspiration

Weekly Wrap

Classic black and white will never go out of style, but it’s most definitely one of the hottest color pairings going right now, and I’ve seen so many gorgeous black and white wrapped packages popping up on Pinterest lately that I had to shine a spotlight on some of my favorites.

This dynamic color duo can stand firmly on its own, as it does in the pretty packages below, but it also looks great with just about any color around. My favorite additions for the upcoming holiday season include shiny metallics, bold reds / greens / teals, and soft mints and pinks. I’ve included some complementary color ideas below to get your creative juices flowing.
