Thanks to Jennifer James, a designer and illustrator at Two Paperdolls, for letting me know about these fantastic, custom save the dates that she created for her sister and future brother-in-law. The design blends Texan-inspired shabby chic with the groom’s love of vintage music posters, and I love the palette of yellow linen, papaya, chocolate, and a dark sage-y green, perfect choices for a retro look with a slightly western feel.
My favorite part about the save the dates is that they tell the story of Kelly + Clayton, high school sweethearts who reunited after college. Knowing the bride and groom to be personally allowed Jennifer to design something unique for the couple and to share a story that certainly warmed the hearts of everyone who received a save the date.

Clever, removable hangtags continue the vintage theme and allow invitees to keep a reminder about the wedding in an easy to see place, and wraparound address labels are just plain cool.
