Fina Paper DIY Party Printables + Wedding Invites

DIY Tropicana Summer Party Printables

Check out this super cool, printable set of Tropicana party goodies from FINA Art & Paper. Woodgrain + refreshinging drinks = the perfect collection for a summer and/or poolside shindig. The set features a DIY invitation, menu, circle tags, goodie bags, place cards, water bottle labels, and thank you cards.

In addition to creating fun party printables, FINA also creates printed wedding invitations (digitally printed for smaller runs and offset for larger). I’m really digging the subtle worn look that the invitations have, which really gives them a lovely looking texture. And the malachite reverse illustration on the Dynasty Collection is absolutely inspired!

New Letterpress Wedding Invitations by Gilah Press

Gilah Letterpress Wedding Invitations
Gilah Letterpress Wedding Invitations

I was completely aswoon over the new letterpress invitations in the Gilah Press Wedding Album at the National Stationery Show last month (above are the two designs that I mentioned during my NSS roundups), and I’m jazzed to be able to show you more from the new collection. From stitched embellishments and gorgeous modern pattern and type to beautiful palettes featuring colors with names like avocado, butter, silk, carrot, sangria, bubble, and flax, the new Gilah invites are a feast for the eyes!

In addition, all of the main papers used in the invitations are tree-free and either 100% cotton or a cotton bamboo mix. The colored papers and envelopes are 30-100% post consumer waste. The new collection will be available later this month at the following shops:

Gus & Ruby: Portsmouth, NH
Epitome Papers: Edina, MN
Urbanic Paper Boutique: Venice, CA
Lion in the Sun: Brooklyn, NY
The Pleasure of Your Company: Baltimore, MD
Printemps: Westport, CT
Smudge Designs: Toronto, ON

Nautical Wedding Invites by Carolyn Sewell

Nautical Wedding Invitations Carolyn Sewell

Words cannot express how much I’m swooning over these amazing nautical wedding invitations by designer Carolyn Sewell, who also has a fantastic project called Postcards to My Parents, a must see for anyone who loves hand lettering. Carolyn, who had previously avoided designing any wedding invites, changed her mind when she was asked by her best friend to create custom invitations for his wedding, a waterside ceremony that will be held this July in Bar Harbor, Maine. Carolyn truly took it to the next level with this suite, which features details like vintage map envelope liners, rope and grommet work, gorgeous nautical illustrations, and hand printed, walnut veneer invitations. Nautical perfection!

Mike Dornseif Screen Printed Wedding Invitations

Mike Dornseif Screen Printed Wedding Invitations

Be still my beating heart. These screen printed wedding invitations, created by the groom, illustrator Mike Dornseif, are absolutely fantastic. And I see that I’m not the only one who thinks so. Every little detail — the birdie bride and groom, the scrollwork on the birdhouse roof, the butterflies, and the squirrel in the tree — is just perfect. Love the purple, too! – via French Paper
