Super Mario fans and gamer geeks, get ready to be excited because this new art collection at Familytree features all sorts of Mario Kart themed goodness. I really enjoy seeing how the different artists involved in this fun project, which was curated by eclectic poster artist, Sam’s Myth, interpreted the theme.

The collection includes everything from limited edition prints, original paintings, t-shirts, and more. And the DIY 3D Mario Kart Mystery Item Box paper sculpture (shown above) by Drew Binkley totally had me at glow-in-the-dark. Okay, so embroidered patches aren’t exactly made of paper, but they definitely go hand and hand with paper goods, and I just couldn’t pass up the chance to give a shout out to these awesome patches from Frog & Toad Press. Omigosh, there’s even a patch for people who love to smell books. My people!

Beautiful, Illustrated Art Prints from Lyra Press

If you love gorgeous, painterly illustrations (and who doesn’t, right?!), then you’ll soon find yourself utterly smitten with the beautiful art prints from Lyra Press.

Crystal and Jorge, the talented duo behind Lyra Press, both have a background in architecture / design, but after after a few years of working at corporate design firms they decided to venture out on their own and open an illustration studio. They paint every element of each print by hand, then lay out the final design digitally, and they love the idea of creating prints that are both beautiful and informative. I’m sure that more than a few of us (myself included) are fans of art prints that look fantastic and educate us at the same time!

Nina Stajner Art Prints & Stickers

Warmer weather has finally (hopefully) won out over the frigid days and nights that we’ve been experiencing recently here in Pennsylvania, and these absolutely darling, illustrated stickers and art prints by Nina Stajner have put me firmly in a springtime frame of mind.
