Doe-Eyed Bad Fruit Prints

It’s already been established that I’m a sucker for anthropomorphic fruit, so is it really any surprise that I was instantly enamored with this collection of “Bad Fruit” prints by Doe-eyed? Nothing ruins your day like someone taking a bite out of your head, indeed. – via French Paper

Jessica Hische’s Daily Drop Cap Prints

Jessica Hische Daily Drop Cap Prints

Fantastic news for those of us — myself included, of course — who have been swooning over Jessica Hische’s Daily Drop Caps for months: you can purchase full alphabet prints or prints of individual drop caps from her shop!

She’s also recently created a letterpress version of one of her alphabets, which is almost too much for my letterpress-loving heart to handle. This one’s definitely on my ultimate letterpress wishlist.

Saelee Oh Paper Cuts

Saelee Oh

I was recently introduced to the work of artist Saelee Oh through a feature at Paper Forest, and I’m totally aswoon over her wonderful, whimsical creations. I love the way in which Saelee incorporates her paper cuts into mixed media work, weaving them seamlessly with illustrations to create textural landscapes. Her pure white, standalone paper cuts are quite beautiful, as well.

If you’re in the New York City area, you can to check out Saelee Oh’s exhibition at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery through February 13. Here’s a little eye candy from Saelee’s portfolio, and be sure to stop by her site to check out a couple of really fun stop motion animations that she created with Lana Kim.
