Daylight Dreamers : A Collaborative Letterpress Print

Daylight Dreamers Letterpress Print

Rachael from Pistachio Press gave me a heads up about a lovely new collaborative letterpress print, Daylight Dreamers, that she and Jacqueline Bos just released and, well, it’s completely dreamy. Rachael and Jackie initially met through blog comments and emails (the power of the internets!), and when they met in person they knew that good things were coming.

They’ve both been hard at work putting together this print, which features a soft, four color palette and includes a teeny bonus dreamcatcher print. Each is hand numbered, and the prints are available in a limited run of 100. You can pick yours up at Pistachio Press or Jacqueline Bos’ Etsy shop.

1Canoe2 Letterpress Coasters and Prints

1Canoe2 Things that are Round Letterpress Print

Squee! The new “Things that are Round” letterpress coasters and letterpress posters from 1Canoe2 are so completely, fantastically clever that I couldn’t help but squee. I’m totally craving pie lately, so that’s where I honed in first but, honestly, every round little item is brilliant. Donuts, dandelions, tomato pin cushions, soda can tops, the world — so much fun! The set of coasters would make an excellent hostess gift, and the poster would be great to hang in the kitchen, the office, pretty much anywhere. Many thanks to Beth for the heads up on these!

P.S. The coasters come in a totally cute, letterpressed drawstring bag, too!

Alef Betty Hebrew Alphabet Prints

Alef Betty Hebrew Alphabet Prints

I love a well designed alphabet print, but I don’t know that I’ve seen a foreign alphabet print before now. These sleek, modern Hebrew alphabet prints come from Alef Betty, Tsilli Pines’ new shop, which is devoted to modern Hebrew artwork. You may know Tsilli from her gorgeous, handmade ketubah (Jewish marriage contract) work, and you can check out her entire menagerie of creative projects over at Tsilli.com.

Alef Betty Hebrew Alphabet Prints

The alphabet prints feature letterforms based on two typefaces from the Hebrew canon: Frank Ruehl and Haim and were printed by the awesome Pinball Publishing on chipboard using soy-based inks. You can read the inspiring story behind Alef Betty and purchase the posters in Classic, Blocks, and Circle designs (red and blue colorways) at the Alef Betty shop. – via design*sponge and CoinOp

Paper Squid

Paper Squid

I’m really digging the lovely, organic quality of the illustrations featured in Paper Squid’s art prints, invitations, and greeting cards. It feels like every piece has a core that has grown and will continue to grow beyond the bounds of the paper if allowed. Very cool! Here’s some more eye candy from Paper Squid’s collection:
