Benign Objects Business Cards

Humina, humina! Check out these droolworthy business cards by and for Rachel Wiles of Benign Objects. I love it when I see business cards that feature a series of colors and/or imagery — like baseball cards or other collectible cards, I always have the urge to get one of each to complete the collection. These little beauties feature some of Rachel’s beautiful design and illustration work, and I’m loving the stained wood look.

YASLY Letterpress Virtues of Man Prints & Leather Engraving

I’m amazed by these Virtues of Man letterpress prints from YASLY, a Florida based design collective “comprised of fellow musicians, leather craftsman, letterpress artisans, house wives and carpenters”. The imagery in these prints is so powerful and brings to mind Freemason imagery and da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man.

And I’m in complete awe over YASLY’s laser engraved leather pieces. Wow. They’re both sold out, but I just had to include them here.

Shadow Box Papercuts by Peter Slight

I can’t stop looking at these paper cut shadow boxes by UK artist Peter Slight. They’re so much fun that I can’t help but feel happier when I look at them and imagine myself frolicking amongst the fun characters in his creations. So inspiring! Check out the rest of his portfolio, which includes small shadow boxes, large shadow boxes, illustrations, and models. – via Drawn

Beau Ideal Letter Cards

These screen printed Letter Cards by Beau Ideal, which feature decorative capitals that look like they were just plucked from the forest floor, are so much fun! Collect all of the cards needed to spell out your name and frame them to create personalized wall art, or purchase for friends and family to get them started on building their names, too.

As of now, it looks like Beau Ideal have released A, C, D, E, H, J, L, M, P, R, S, T, W, and I can’t wait to see the rest! Here are more fun letters:

City Set Prints by Bandito Design Co.

Squee! I’m a total medievalphile (is this even a word?), so it was love at first sight when I spotted this medieval cityscape print set by Bandito Design Co. I don’t think that I can resist picking up a set for myself. I mean, the prints feature turrets AND woodgrain patterns!

Each printed is screened in white, fire red, and brown on Poptone Berrylicious French Paper, and the set is just $12. – via French Paper

I’m also really digging The Birds & The Bees prints, screened in the same ink colors on Poptone Berrylicious. Such clever visuals — I love the woodpecker record “needle” on the record player and the honeycomb speakers on the boombox.
