I am completely in awe of these handmade origami bouquets at My Bohemian Summer. Can you believe that these roses are made of paper? Wow. Summer Skillman, the origami artist who creates these beautiful bouquets, also creates origami flower favors and embellishments that are a wonderfully creative choice for bridal showers, weddings, and even for gift wrap embellishments. The Lost & Found Dept.

I’m really digging the style of The Lost & Found Dept., the design and printmaking studio of graphic designer/illustrator Jamie Patrick Paul, whose art prints feature subjects like mini Abraham Lincoln (love!), ornate cigar bands, and vintage typewriters. Prints are created using a variety of techniques — flat printing, letterpress printing, and screen printing — and the illustrations have that oh so cool mid-century vibe. Custom Pommebirds Mobile by INK + WIT

This custom bird mobile from INK + WIT is so ethereal and beautiful! Tara from INK + WIT created the oh so lovely mobile for a mommy who loved this Pommebirds print, and the birds from the print were used as the main characters in the custom mobile. The result is simply perfect for a nursery or child’s room. Forget age boundaries —I’d love to have one for my own office!

The mobile includes 22 laser cut bristol board birds suspended from a custom cut acrylic wheel, and it was hand assembled by INK + WIT, who will be offering a similar mobile before the holidays. 1Canoe2 Things That are Long + 2011 Letterpress Calendars

Remember the awesome “Things That Are Round” letterpress print from 1Canoe2? Super cool, and I’m delighted to see that the second letterpress print in the “Things That Are…” series has been released. The latest print is called “Things That Are Long” and features, well, things that are long. And what clever things they are! “Things That Are Round” sold out in 24 hours, so you’ll probably want to pick up the new print pretty quickly, before it’s gone, too.

And is it too early to start talking 2011 calendars? I don’t think that I can hold back much longer, as I’ve been seeing more and more fantastic 2011 calendar designs over the past couple of weeks and am just bursting at the seams to start sharing. 1Canoe2 has four (!) letterpress calendars for the coming year, including a “Things That Are Long” calendar and a calendar with a neato nautical theme.

Cartoules Letterpress Art Prints

I’m really digging these letterpress art prints from Cartoules Letterpress. The pattern in the cloud and grass/leaf are on the Nature print is fantastic, as is the background pattern on the Red Chair print — a perfect match for letterpress printing. And the quotes are so uplifting and inspiring. The limited edition prints were made in small runs of 21 (Nature) and 15 (Red Chair), so be sure to check them out before they’re gone!
