I’m really digging the clean type and smart, illustrative representations of the quotes featured in these posters from Design Different, and the minimal yet bold black, white, and red color palette would look great on the walls of a modern office or home.

If you’re interested in sharing these thought-provoking quotes via snail mail, Design Different also offers a selection of the quotes in greeting card form, and you can check those out right here.

Watercolor Illustration Prints by Matt Shanks

The Victorians! 1837 to 1901 Watercolor Art Print | Matt Shanks

I am loving these seriously cute and clever watercolor illustrations by Melbourne, Australia based artist, Matt Shanks. The adorable prints feature fictional characters (Captain Ahab), historical figures (Galileo & Sir Isaac Newton, part of the science series), and original characters that each have a clever and extremely enjoyable backstory. Check out all of Matt’s available watercolor prints right here, and take a peek at some of my favorites below.

Trendspotting : Flamingos

Corals, peaches, and pinks are some of the hottest colors going in stationery, and what member of the animal kingdom best represents this part of the color spectrum? The flamingo, of course! I’ve noticed flamingos popping up all over – in greeting cards, art prints, and even on gift wrap – and expect to see more of these pretty in pink birds standing tall on stationery and paper goods of all sorts in the near future.

Psst … be sure to check out Karla Pruitt’s beautiful, tropical-themed playing cards, if you haven’t already, for more flamingo goodness.

Artist Portrait Prints by Sketch Inc

Check out these super cute prints by Sketch Inc, featuring artists including Salvador Dali, Beatrix Potter, Coco Chanel, and Frida Kahlo. The sweet prints are reproductions of original gouache paintings, and my favorite details are the items associated with the lives of each legendary artist that can be found in the frames around their portraits.

And, while they aren’t made of paper, I’m loving Sketch Inc’s kokeshi dolls, too. Eep, the Salvador Dali doll is awesomeness.
