Weekly Wrap #25 : National Stationery Show Edition

Weekly Wrap

I was on the hunt for gorgeous gift wrap at the National Stationery Show, and my search did not leave me disappointed. I spotted so many great options for gift wrap and packaging that will be truly standout:

National Stationery Show Gift Wrap

From top:
* The Ecojot booth was filled with colorful goodies, including whimsical gift wrap sheets featuring illustrations by Carolyn Gavin (left).
* Drool … I must have these gift wrap sheets by Sanna Annukka (right, top four), and the number/letter wrap by Sukie and Geisha wrap by The Good Life are fantastic, too. All spotted in the eye candy-filled Vigo booth. You can purchase everything shown from the UK based Nineteenseventythree.
* Loved the palette and pattern in these handmade gift wrap sheets from May Day Studio at the Ladies of Letterpress booth.
* Gorgeous fabric wraps from Chewing the Cud
* Lovely new gift wrap sheets by Avie Designs. Available soon in the Avie Designs shop!
* Oh so pretty letterpress self mailers from Tiselle.

I’m just getting started, so stay tuned next week for much, much more from the show. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Milk and Cookies Printables

Free Printable Milk Carton

A little while back, Cyd from The Sweetest Occasion asked if I’d like to put together a guest post for her National Stationery Show week celebration, and I was honored to contribute. Cyd always finds such wonderfully inspiring celebrations to share with her readers, and I knew immediately that I wanted to do some sort of school day or milk and cookies theme.

I had so much fun with this project that I probably could’ve set up an entire party if I’d had the time to do so! Printables include the vintage milk carton favor boxes shown above, which will fit small cookies and all sorts of other goodies, and report card themed, printable recipe cards and envelopes that can be used as additional favors or place settings. You can check out more details over at The Sweetest Occasion, and while you’re there you’ll want to read the other awesome guests posts that are happening this week, including a fantastic letterpress birth announcement giveaway from Gus & Ruby Letterpress. Thanks for the opportunity, Cyd!

Letterhead Love

Happy Monday, everyone! I thought I’d start the week off with a fantastic new site called Letterhead Love, from Rachel Wiles of Benign Objects and The Dieline. If you swoon over gorgeous business cards, and kick butt business collateral sets your heart aflutter, then this is the site for you!

Letterhead Love “was born out of Rachel’s [sic] desire to have an online repository of the best letterhead, stationery and collateral materials”, and I think she’s off to a terrific start. The site is only a week old, but it’s already filled with droolworthy letterhead designs. Here’s a taste of what you’ll find at Letterhead Love:

Balcony Gardener Seed Packaging

Balcony Gardener

Hello, gorgeous packaging! I felt a swoon coming on the moment I spotted this absolutely fantastic seed packaging by Chloe Dunne for The Balcony Gardener over at Lovely Package the other day, and I’m still in full swoon over the bold, modern patterns and the brightly colored palette. I’m not anywhere close to being a green thumb, but these seeds make me want to start planning a balcony garden.

Weekly Wrap #10 : Oya Embellishments

Oya Turkish Lace Embellishments

The embellishment on this gift packaging, created by F. Ceylan Erzen of packageinstyle, is truly a gift in and of itself. The simple but chic brown paper wrap is adorned with “oya”, also known as Turkish lace, the history of which is thought to date back as far as the 8th century B.C. to the Phrygians of Anatolia. So lovely and intricate.
