I’m so excited about the elum letterpress holiday card collection, and I’m loving the gift wrap designs that they’ve created, too! So many great cards, but I think that my favorite has to be Cornucopia (above), a card that is made up of 10 unique punch out gift tags that the recipient can use for their own gift giving. It’s a card and a little extra gift, all rolled into one! More eye candy from elum’s holiday collection:

A Letterpress Christmas 2009 : Roundup, Part 1

As with all of the 2010 calendars, I’m simply in awe of all of the wonderful holiday card designs that are out there this season. Every year I think that there couldn’t possibly be more wonderful collection of holiday paper treats, and then all of you fantastic card designers go and outdo yourselves!

This letterpress holiday card roundup is part one of two, and I had to shake my head at myself when I first took a look at the collection of images below. Not much green to be seen! It’s not that I don’t like green, because I do. I guess I’m just very predictable in my love of the blue and red combo. However, rest assured green-lovers, because there’s lots of green in the second part of the roundup, coming up right after this one.

Mirabel Press Nautical Baby Announcement

This nautical themed custom baby announcement by Mirabel Press is an absolute delight. I’m loving pretty much everything about it, from the soft blue and firecracker red palette to the nautical flags, anchors, and one of the most adorable whales that I think I’ve seen. So incredibly cute:

I’m absolutely loving the mix of awesome typography and vintage style illustrations in Kirtland House’s line of letterpress holiday cards. The pale seafoam shade of ink that plays a prominent role in several of the designs is one of my new favorite things, or maybe it’s that fantastic typography?
