All things celestial continue to be popular in the stationery world, and these zodiac birthday cards by Row House 14 instantly caught my eye. The modern designs feature each constellation of the zodiac against the deep, rich blue of the night sky, with a happy birthday message beneath it. Even those who aren’t into astrology and horoscopes will enjoy these modern birthday cards, which may inspire a jaunt outside for a little stargazing, too.

Laser Cut, Nature-Inspired Cards

Nib & Tuck, whose beautiful “Stained Glass” cards I featured last October, recently launched a new collection that will definitely catch the attention of nature lovers and laser cutting fans. The current designs in the collection include a pretty peacock (above), an eagle, a Canada goose, a dogwood blossom, and a wild salmon, all laser cut into raw and toothy 18 point chipboard. The thick and subtly rustic chipboard is a great compliment to the nature-themed laser cuts, which look fantastic cut into the thick chipboard.

Many more additions to this collection are planned for the coming year, and I know I’ll be keeping my eye on the Nib & Tuck shop to see what they will be!

The Fairy Tale Collection

I am completely enamored with every single gorgeous card in Karolin Schnoor’s Fairy Tale collection. Each card is a little work of art and features Karolin’s evocative take on a classic fairy tale, and the letterpress printed cards feature rich, black ink, complimented beautifully by gold foil stamping. Cards are available individually or as a set, and I think that they would make a wonderful wall art grouping.
