Every time that I’m in an antique shop, co-op, or thrift store, I make a beeline for the holiday area(s). Vintage holiday goodies always give me a case of the warm and fuzzies, and I’m endlessly inspired by the colors, textures, illustrations, and hand lettered sentiments found on vintage Christmas cards, holiday ornaments, gift tags, and wrapping paper.

Given my love of all things vintage holiday, it will come as no surprise that I was instantly smitten with pretty much everything in If Found Please Return, the new shop from one of my all-time letterpress faves, a. favorite. Amber’s passion for vintage ephemera has long inspired her awesome letterpress line, and she is sharing some of the vintage treasures that she’s collected over the years in her wonderful new shop.

Vintage ephemera addicts and mid-century collectors alike will dig the fun and vibrant everyday and holiday wrapping papers, stamps, seals, and cards available from If Found Please Return, and you’ll find nostalgia-inducing felt stockings, Christmas lights, and decorations in the shop, too. It’s a vintage holiday lover’s dream!

Weekly Wrap #154 : Pleased to Meet Gift Wrap

A little while back, I featured Pleased to Meet’s fantastic holiday gift wrap goodies, and I recently popped over to their shop to see what was new and founds oodles of awesome occasional gift wrap designs. Woohoo for super cool gift wrap! The patterns range from the fun and funky New York (above) and A Good Catch to the more subtle patterns of their Kimono Series, as well as designs for babies, love, and more. Minty forests, blooming branches, and scrumptious birthday cakes – this trio of new gift wrap designs from Kate & Birdie has got it going on! The pretty papers will help create darling packages that will be right at home at birthday parties, bridal showers, and beyond. And the designs are printed on FSC certified 100% post consumer waste recycled paper with vegetable-based ink, so they’re eco-friendly, too.

Weekly Wrap #152 : Quirky Gift Wrap from Paper Source

I love quirky paper goods, and I love fun gift wrap, so it’s no surprise that these new gift wrap designs from Paper Source are calling my name. The out of the ordinary patterns include birthday wrap with a chalkboard theme and fantastic hand lettering (above), as well as zebras, donuts, eyeglasses, and terrariums. In addition to creating eye-catching packages for all sorts of occasions, I wouldn’t be surprised if these quirky papers turn out to be big conversation starters, too.

I am completely smitten with these new gift wrap and letterpress gift tag designs from Bespoke Letterpress. The sweet, typographic tags are the perfect compliment to the double-sided wrapping papers, each of which has a beautiful floral pattern on one side and an eye-catching geometric pattern on the reverse. Create two completely different looks with one sheet!
