Alef Betty Hebrew Alphabet Prints

I love a well designed alphabet print, but I don’t know that I’ve seen a foreign alphabet print before now. These sleek, modern Hebrew alphabet prints come from Alef Betty, Tsilli Pines’ new shop, which is devoted to modern Hebrew artwork. You may know Tsilli from her gorgeous, handmade ketubah (Jewish marriage contract) work, and you can check out her entire menagerie of creative projects over at Tsilli.com.

The alphabet prints feature letterforms based on two typefaces from the Hebrew canon: Frank Ruehl and Haim and were printed by the awesome Pinball Publishing on chipboard using soy-based inks. I’m completely taken with these super cute, one of a kind paper wedding cake toppers from Concarta. The unique paper sculptures can be made in a variety of styles and colors and can be used as wedding cake toppers or as accent decorations. Concarta also makes decorative paper flowers that coordinate with the toppers or stand on their own as decorations for weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions.

Bittersugar ABC Letterpress Prints

I’m still loving the ABC trend, and Bittersugar’s phonetic alphabet letterpress prints are so much fun, with animals such as the aforementioned narwhals, yaks, and sardines, as well as horses, jellyfish, and a very clever “X”. I first spotted The Yolk Folk over at How About Orange, and I think that they, along with their brethren, The Carrot Crew, are completely awesome. All of these super fun paper toys are available as downloads from the oh so clever paper toy masters, Mibo. You can purchase each set separately for about $4, or purchase both sets together for $6.25. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t share The Yolk Folk names: Cluck Gable, Eggory Peck, and Sophia Le Hen.
