Canning Party Printables

I’m so excited to finally be able to share with you these free canning party printables that I’ve been working on for Cottage Industrialist! I’ve been canning for a couple of years now, and I can’t believe that I didn’t start sooner. Homemade strawberry jam all year long? Yes, please!

In addition to the mason jar-themed printables, which include canning party invitations, envelope liners, recipe cards, jar labels and tags, you can find plenty of resources for getting set up to have your own canning party in my guest post over at Cottage Industrialist. Check it out!

how great! i picked strawberries for the first time this year but didn’t make any jam…i will next year and now i can have a party with all these sweet invites! thanks Kristen!

These can be used for so many other things than just a canning party. I envision “come over and catch fireflies”. Simply add some yellow dots inside and invite the little ones over!

  5. Cameron says:

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kristen! I am so happy to have had you as my guest. You rock!

  6. kristen says:

Thanks so much, everyone! So glad that you like them!

    Great idea, Kathleen!

Cameron – It was my pleasure! I hope the printables inspire people to throw canning parties. Canning is cool!

  7. Sarah says:

i love these and tried to go through the link, but it doesn’t work :(

Sarah – do you mean the link in my post, or the file download links at Cottage Industrialist? I just clicked through the links in the post and checked by clicking on a couple of the files at Cottage Industrialist and didn’t have any problems. Maybe there was a hiccup somewhere earlier?

We just saw a very clever use of these as invites and labels for a Soup Swap hosted by Lindsay @http://lovepeoplelikethings.wordpress.com/2010/10/24/soup-swap/.

We just love them for those jars of frozen soup! Lovely! We dropped a link on the Soup Swap FB page and plan on including a link to these in a post we’re doing on tags, labels and clever containers next week.
