I spotted this clever, Father’s Day-themed truffle packaging over on Flickr and think it’s fantastic inspiration for other Father’s Day or man-centric gift wrap. The idea is a simple one — take a piece of ribbon and wrap it around the package like a necktie, cutting the bottom to a point to complete the effect — but the simplicity of it is what makes it such a cool idea.
This idea could easily be scaled up using wider ribbon and a larger box, like a shirt box. On the right size box, you could even use a real necktie, having it do double-duty as the “bow” and as part of the gift, with a coordinating shirt in the box to complete the gift.
