Vintage Grunge + Crafty Kitchen Rubber Stamps

I’ve really been getting back into rubber stamping over the past few months. Thankfully, most of my stamp pads are still good, but I’ve been on the hunt for new stamps to add to my collection. When I was into stamping a few years back, unmounted cling stamps were just starting to get popular, and now there’s a seemingly endless number of cling designs available, along with the more traditional wood-mounted stamps that I still love.

My interests seem to be firmly divided into two categories of stamps: the vintage grunge style, which have been giving me lots of ideas for Halloween projects, and the more craft and kitchen-themed stamps, which are great for tags and labels for handmade gifts. Hope you enjoy this little roundup of some of my favorites!

I went through a stamp craze a few years ago too. And ooh, love the recipe card one! I had an idea to make up small stamps for spoons, cups, eggs, etc. and keep a scrapbook-style cookbook where I could individually stamp the ingredients. Does that make sense? 🙂 You know the way Jamie Oliver’s cookbook looks with hand-drawn recipes on Jamie At Home?

That’s an awesome idea, Mary! I’ve dabbled with the idea of doing a scrapbook-style cookbook, too, and think it would be such a fun project. Let me know if you do this; I’d love to see!

Glad you like! Tim Holtz has a lot of really cool vintage ephemera stamps in his line, but the postcard stamps are my favorites.
